Firmware Compiling

Good Day Everyone,

Has anyone compiled any of the other firmware versions and put them on the
PCD yet?  If so how did you go about doing it?  I am trying to compile a
modified firmware to put on the unit and test with but I can't even get the
compile to come out right.  Any help in this department would be awesome.
