HelloWorld doesn't run...

Hello!

For a project in my school I try to read the card id from "MIFFARE
DESfire" cards with an OpenPCD RFID-reader (and do some things with the
id).

I edited the "HelloWorld" project (found in "librfid_win32v7.zip") with
Visual Studio under Win Vista but get the following error:

"Unhandled exeption at: 0x.... in HelloWorld.exe: 0x..... Acces
violation reading location 0x...."

But even when I run the example "HelloWorld" project without any changes
I get these errors...

When I run "librfid-tool -S" everythings works fine. So it would be nice
to edit the source code of this program to suit my needs. But where can
I find the source code of the "librfid-tool" for windows written by
Harald Welte???

One more question: Is there a forum that woukd fit to my questions? I
don't think these devel-lists are for noobs like me...
