RFID Sniffer

Hi,

I am new in the mailing list. To make it short, I was at the Last HOPE last
summer, and the attendee meta-data project really got me interested in RFID
technology. My main interest is smart cards that use RFID. I first bought a
contact-card reader (very cheap, $32) to start playing with smart cards, but
now I would like to try sniffing data sent through RFID when the same card
is used contact-less. I've often heard that RFID was insecure, and I want to
see it by myself. I've searched through your website, and I came across
multiple devices that you have designed. However, I'm quite confused when it
comes to know what I should buy to get started. OpenPICC seems to be missing
from the shop. Is OpenPICC what I'm looking for? OpenPCD also seems to maybe
support sniffing RFID communications, but I am not sure. Could you guys
guide me a little bit towards the device that you have designed that fits my
needs the best? I've done a little bit of soldering, so a kit that requires
soldering would not be that much of a problem. Thanks a lot,

-Marc-Andre
