OpenPICC Enhancements

Hi all

I am working with OpenPICC and I just read the diploma thesis about 
Mifare Classic from Henryk Ploetz.

At page 35/36 are some enhancements of the OpenPICC hardware described. 
Have somebody tried them out? Or is somebody able to share more 
information about that? Like appropriate schematics and/or maybe firmware?
